Support FEED to Go

Everyone is trying to reduce community spread of the COVID-19. Many families have been left scrambling to find a way to pay the bills and put food on the table.

The Northside Planning Council (NPC) and FEED Kitchens launched FEED To Go as a way to get free meals to families while keeping local businesses running. The first round of FEED to Go ran from March 19 to July 3 and during that time almost 30,000 meals were sent out into the community from FEED Kitchens.

For less than $7, we provide a free, healthy meal for someone while keeping a local entrepreneur in business. Thanks to food donations from restaurants, farmers and suppliers, and the hard work of volunteers delivering meals across Madison each day, every dollar makes a difference.

The Northside Economic Development Coalition (NEDC) is a partnership with the Northside Business Association and Dane Buy Local in collaboration with the Black Chamber of Commerce and Latino Chamber of Commerce Dane County.

The NEDC supports Northside economic development and works with the business community to strengthen it.

With the goal of advancing racial and economic equity, our areas of focus include small business incubation, food security, regional food system coordination, vocational training, commercial district revitalization, community journalism, grassroots leadership development, and community organizing.

The NEDC is a program of the Northside Planning Council.
