About Our Auction
This auction is a fundraiser for the Artz4Youth program of the Sooke Fine Arts Society , with the goal of encouraging and supporting youth artists (13 through 19) in our region. The auction runs from NOVEMBER 18 through NOVEMBER 23, 2021.
These unique artworks have been generously donated by well-known Canadian artists Timothy Wilson Hoey and Shawn O'Keefe, and emerging local artist Axel Tutton. We thank them for their generous support!
The idea for this auction came out of a workshop held this past summer as part of the Sooke Fine Arts Show 2021. The Street Signs: Youth Art Project saw Tim, Shawn and Axel mentor youth artists from Sooke and surrounding areas in this unique street art form. Everyone had a fantastic day and agreed that the workshop should happen again!
