The Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation encourages students to express themselves through dance. We continue today with the same philosophy that Steffi imbued it with more than eighty years ago that "anyone can dance — and everyone should!"

With generous support from the community, SNDF provides outreach programs for a broad and diverse population. We believe that the enjoyment of dance is universal and can enrich the lives of all members of our community including under-served populations and those with special needs.

We are the oldest dance educational institution in Westchester and proud of the traditions that have been passed down through generations. Steffi Nossen is not just a studio, but a school and dance community. Steffi Nossen School of Dance is a strong proponent of dance literacy and emphasizes the art, joy and discipline of dance to enhance the young mind while challenging each student’s individual cognitive, technical and artistic growth.
