2025 StFX WUSC Society Online Auction

This auction raises funds for the StFX WUSC Society. Since 1984, the StFX community has sponsored and resettled one refugee-background youth annually via its partnership with WUSC's (World University Service of Canada) Student Refugee Program (SRP). Sponsorship funding for the program comes from an annual student levy (each student paying $8.00 per year) and in-kind support from StFX Administrations. The StFX WUSC Society is responsible for managing the administration of the StFX SRP. This auction was planned to address increases in the cost of sponsoring a refugee, recently announced by IRCC.

WUSC is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, economic, and empowerment opportunities for youth around the world. WUSC originated the Student Refugee Program, a one-of-a-kind initiative to combine resettlement with opportunities for higher education.
