About Our Auction

The Penticton Art Gallery and Cannery Brewing are pleased to welcome you to our second Square Mini-Mural Fundraising Auction. This year's auction features 10 amazing 4' x 4' paintings done by some of the Okanagan's most colourful artists. Each mural comes on an easel frame, ready to hang. They can be installed either indoors or outside.

This year's live auction will take place on Wednesday, October 26th at Cannery Brewing with the live auction starting at 6:00pm.

Tickets for the live event are $25 and can be purchased at Cannery Brewing. Tickets include a beverage at Cannery Brewing. Online bids can be left up until midnight on Tuesday, October 25th and will be carried over to the live event the following night.

All bids start at $500.00 and the proceeds will be split between the Artist and the Penticton Art Gallery, which will put the funds towards the next year's project. Bidding will start online with a transition to the live event. If you are unable to make the live event, please take advantage of the absentee bid feature and leave your maximum bid. A member of the Gallery will bid on your behalf at the live event. If there are no additional bids at the live event, the highest current active bid will win the mural.

This year's featured artists are:
Amy Schroeter, Angela Hansen, Ariane` Kamps, Elizabeth Houghton, Greta Kamp, Jessie Dunlop, Johann Wessels, Kristine Lee, Leta Heiberg, and Moozhan Ahmadzadegan.

All successful bids will be notified by e-mail within 48 hours of the closing of the auction.

Thank you for your time, interest, and support of our efforts and for investing in the careers of the participating artists, the Penticton Art Gallery, community partners such as Cannery Brewing, and ultimately our community as a whole.

Good luck and if you have any questions regarding any of the items, or would like additional photographs, please feel free to contact the gallery at:

If you would like to see the works in person you can view them at Cannery Brewing.
