A Shot in the Dark Night Golf Auction

Welcome to the A Shot in the Dark Night Golf Auction! Auction proceeds support our vision programs such as FREE vision screening for almost 40,000 preschool and school age children each year. Undiagnosed vision problems can lead to poor school performance and delays in socialization, athletics and more. Early detection is key to helping kids see to learn in school!

Prevent Blindness Iowa has been working since 1958 to reduce unnecessary blindness by detecting eye disease early, protecting eyes from eye injuries, providing funds for research and educating Iowans on how to avoid vision loss. Funds raised from the A Shot in the Dark Night Golf auction support our programs such as free vision screening for children, free eye exams and glasses for low-income children and adults and vision screening training for school nurses and public health departments across the state.
