Sharks in The Parks

Galaxy Gallery MV (MVCVA) and Island Artists with the cooperation from the Oak Bluffs Parks Department celebrate JAWS 50th anniversary by creating and coordinating an art installation everyone can enjoy and also partake in. For two weeks enjoy premier Martha's Vineyard artists by viewing 4 foot SHARKS in some of Oak Bluffs parks. Sunset Lake will be where most are placed as well as Viera Park, Nashawena Park, Niantic Park, Hiawatha Park and Hartford Park off Circuit Ave.
*50% of final auction bids go to the Artist.
The art installation event will take place from June 20 -  July 4, during the bidding process, culminating in a reception of Sharks for the winning bids at the Portuguese American Club July 5, 5-7pm.

The Galaxy Gallery is a cooperative gallery, open to all Island Artists, and is the showcase for Martha's Vineyard Center for the Visual Arts (MVCVA)
