Seaton Elementary PTO 2026 Spring Auction

The Seaton Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting its third annual Spring Auction! Seaton is a vibrant, diverse Title I school located in the historic Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC.

Who We Are: The Seaton PTO is a small but mighty group of parents and teachers seeking to improve opportunities for our students. For the 2025-2026 school year, our annual budget was under $40,000. Every dollar we raise is invested directly back into our community, for afterschool enrichment, school events like our science fair and talent showcase, field trips, books for our library, and more!

Help Us Reach Our Goal: We have an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 in this year's auction. We have received so many generous donations from our neighborhood businesses, as well as other organizations throughout the DC area and nationwide. Please browse our catalogue and make a bid (or several) in support of Seaton. And share with your friends, neighbors, and family!

Bid by Monday, April 27: All bids must be made by 6:30 PM EST on Monday, April 27. When selecting your bid amount, you can choose either "Exact" or "Proxy". If you select "Proxy", you can choose your maximum bid and automatically bid up to that amount, depending on what others bid after you. You can also receive alerts when you've been outbid so you don't miss your opportunity to win.

Join Us on April 27 at Dog Daze to Celebrate Our Auction: The Seaton PTO is hosting a closing night happy hour at Dog Daze, on April 27, from 5-8 PM. This event is open to the community. In addition to donating to our auction, Dog Daze has also generously offered to donate 10% of sales from the event back to the PTO and is donating a $50 gift card for a free raffle at the event. We will also have fun raffle prizes including a pair of Nationals tickets donating by Councilmember Brooke Pinto. Stop by and make your last bids over pizza and wine and maybe you'll walk away with that prize you've had your eye on! Note that you do not need to attend to participate in our auction, which is all online.

The Seaton Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit group of parents, teachers and staff dedicated to improving the educational experience of all students at Seaton Elementary School. Seaton is a vibrant Title I public school in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood. It serves one of the most diverse student bodies in D.C., with additional supports for families learning English or experiencing poverty or homelessness, and for children with special learning needs.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Seaton Elementary PTO uses 100% of its funds to support the school community, with classroom supplies, field trips, library books, materials for the Seaton Garden, food security efforts, and events like Multicultural Day, movie nights, potlucks, Field Day, and so many more.
