10th Annual Savor the Season

We are ready for another exciting live auction at Savor the Season! All of the live auction items are designated as "featured items." All the live auction items are open for prebidding. At the live auction, we will start the bidding at the highest bid of prebidding.

The Taylor Haugen Foundation was created to honor the memory of the 15-year-old Niceville High School student who passed away after a traumatic abdominal injury sustained during a football game on August 30, 2008.

The Foundation builds and recognizes youth leaders and promotes abdominal sport safety to honor the legacy of Taylor Haugen. We provide awareness, education and abdominal injury protection to secondary aged schools and leagues in contact sports, through the YESS© Program (Youth Equipment for Sports Safety). The Foundation also recognizes and supports outstanding scholar-athletes with scholarships and awards.

Since it's inception in 2009, the Taylor Haugen Foundation's annual fundraiser, Savor the Season, has served as a catalyst for safety in youth football. What started 10 years ago to share Taylor's story and to educate others about abdominal injuries has turned into one of the area's premier wine and food pairing fundraisers.

Your support with the silent and live auctions help us to honor Taylor's legacy by equipping youth athletes all across the nation with abdominal injury protection. Locally, your support enables us to recognize outstanding students athletes with college scholarships and awards who live by T's motto "Don't Quit... Never Give Up." The scholarships are awarded to students who best demonstrates a similar balance between academics, athleticism, leadership, community service and Christian faith.
