Evanescent Mustang Rescue and Sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe and therapeutic environment for mustangs and burros who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Our program is designed to rescue mustangs and burros that are at risk of being shipped to slaughter, many of them coming straight from auctions or from facilities where they are scheduled to be ship to slaughter. Evanescent Mustang Rescue and Sanctuary coordinates the quarantine, evaluation, and rehabilitation of the rescued equine in order to help them find a forever home and family. We have been seeing mustangs and burros needing our help more than ever, but in order to help them we need to be able to place the current mustangs / burros in homes!
