SCAFE is holding a silent auction in conjunction with our Dessert Reception on November 8th at 4:00-8:00 pm. Please join us that afternoon at the Center for Intercultural Organizing, 700 N. Killingsworth, to sample desserts, enter our raffle, and talk about the progress we have made in reducing recidivism and increasing community involvement in Portland.
Second Chances are for Everyoneedit
SCAFE works to reduce the rate of recidivism by providing support services to promote employment, empowerment, and community engagement for men in transition because Second Chances are for Everyone.
SCAFE reduces barriers to employment by

-conducting mock interviews
-training men in professionalism and communication
-assisting in the process of pursuing training and education
-reaching out to businesses
-seeking professional opportunities
We ask our clients to
-further their educations
-participate in their communities through volunteerism and social activism
-join civic, fraternal, and religious organizations
-practice active fatherhood
-empower themselves to overcome barriers and challenges
