Dyslexia and other reading issues affect 1 in 5 people in the United States, and:
-65% percent of Georgia 4th graders are not reading at the proficient level
-a child not reading proficiently by the end of 4th grade has a 78% chance of NOT catching up
-85% of juvenile offenders have problems reading
-67% of those not reading proficiently by the end of 4th grade end up in poverty
-62% of non readers drop out of high school
-60% of people in American prisons can't read

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be that way! Our Wilson Reading © programs have shown impressive RESULTS. However, they are expensive. Fundraisers like this are how we keep our tuition affordable.

Brookwood Christian is a private, non-profit school that serves students who have not been successful in public or private schools due to their unique learning needs. Many of our students are diagnosed with a language based learning disability such as dyslexia. We are one of the few schools serving dyslexic students in the metro Atlanta area, and one of only 2 that serve high school students.

Our curriculum is specialized and tailored for students with language based learning disabilities.
