Redemptive Cycles 2017

In the past, we've asked for donations and pledges at our annual dinner. This year, we're trying something new:

Generous local and regional businesses have donated an INCREDIBLE set of items that we'll be auctioning to raise money to support our charitable services: Earn-A-Bike, Sliding Scale Repairs, Mechanic Education and our Public Works Station. Various community partners have generously donated these items and we are so excited to offer them to you in this unique format.

The auction will be online prior to our Community Dinner to allow attendees to register, preview all items and start bidding!

Remember, 100% of proceeds will go directly to funding our charitable services.

About Redemptive Cycles

Redemptive Cycles is Downtown Birmingham's Non Profit Bike Shop. We believe strongly that transportation equity is a key component of social equity. We know from experience that when a low-income or homeless community member takes ownership of a bike that they have a greater opportunity to scale socioeconomic barriers.

It is our privilege to serve Birmingham through our Earn-A-Bike and Sliding Scale Repair programs. Earn A Bike enables our homeless & low income clients - who do not own an automobile - to perform 12 hours of community service in exchange for a bike, safety gear, and a repair credit in our shop. We also offer a Sliding Scale Repair program to ensure that anyone who walks in our door looking for essential repairs or maintenance is able to leave with a functional, safe bicycle regardless of their ability to pay.

Our 2018 Year in Review (http://bit.ly/RC_2018YearInReview) details all of our charitable & community program reporting.

Last year we served 134 Earn A Bike clients (click here to meet each of them! : (http://bit.ly/RC_EAB2018) and over 400 Sliding Scale Repair clients.
