Picture This, your family doctor finding something of concern and referring you for diagnostic imaging to assist in their diagnoses.
Picture This, being informed that the DI test you need will expose you to increased levels of radiation despite newer technology that can decrease this exposure and provide better imaging.
Picture This, having to travel out of district for DI tests because the local equipment reached it's end of life and funds were not available to replace it.

Our DI department at Riverside Health Care is in need of multiple equipment upgrades and replacements. Picture This is a $1.5 million dollar capital campaign to raise funds for the replacement of the CT scanner and digital mammography machine, the purchase of an elevating table to the fluoroscopy room, and the upgrade of the x-ray rooms from analogue to digital.
