REAL Fall Harvest Auction Fundraiser

For a decade REAL has held a local foods harvest dinner with a silent auction as our major fundraiser. This year due to Covid we are going to offer our silent auction items online. The funds raised are essential to our ongoing programming. Many of the items included in this auction have been donated to our REAL Deal Reuse store, as we encourage the concept of second hand first.

The Rideau Environmental Action League (REAL) has been active in Smiths Falls and area since 1989. Our mandate is to preserve and protect our environment for future generations by by encouraging and providing opportunities for individual environmental action. Our programs include a reuse store, a tool library, home energy audits, community gardens, butterfly gardens, electronics recycling, Pitch In Smiths Falls, Evergreen Avenue, sustainability webinars and various public awareness initiatives. We rely on donations from our community to continue to provide our services.
