Riverside Arts Weekend Community Art Piece 2025

The Riverside Arts Weekend (RAW) brings together art and community in a unique exhibition that has wowed Riverside residents and visitors alike.

Community Art Project (CAP): Circles of Time

The CAP fosters community engagement through a collaborative art project. Riverside’s 150th anniversary and a circle or wreath — representing 150 years — provides the inspiration for this year's project. CAP participants draw inspiration from the beauty of our historic village, which is surrounded by lush forests, diverse wildlife, the Des Plaines River and is a great place to live and visit.

Bid on these amazing, one of a kind wreaths — the auction closes Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 4 p.m. Winners need not be present.

Started in 2008, Riverside Arts Weekend (RAW) exists to educate, inspire, and excite residents and visitors with art and spectacle that lead to greater understanding and appreciation of art and the creative process.

As part of RAW, we invite members of the community to participate in the community art project. Years past have included yarn bombing the street lights downtown, coyotes on parade, swans, benches, bicycles, tables, bird houses and a community triptych painting.

The community art project auction helps us keep our mission strong.
