About Our Auction
Quota is closing its international doors and our goal is to get QI's very special memorabilia into the hands of members who will appreciate owning a piece of our organization's history. Our auction includes artwork and Quota-related decor displayed at the Quota headquarters office, the official Quota and country flags carried in Convention Opening Ceremonies, items once owned by founder Wanda Frey Joiner, historical documents, the complete archive of THE QUOTARIAN magazines published between 1927 and 2013, and more.
*WHEN: The auction will go live on Monday, June 15 at 8AM, Eastern Time in the United States and will close at 4:00 pm ET in the United States on Tuesday, June 30. A special feature of this auction permits the purchase of any item immediately, prior to June 30, if so desired. Both a "minimum bid" amount and a "buy now" amount is provided for all items.
*PROCEEDS: The Quota Memorabilia Silent Auction is not a fundraiser and proceeds will be used to cover the costs of creating and operating this online event and making shipping costs more equitable to members in all Quota countries in which items can currently be shipped. Remaining monies, if any, will be added to the reserve of monies to be used for the refund of membership dues to Quota clubs in good standing.
*NOTE: Please note that some countries have temporarily closed down shipping from the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic: Curacao, Fiji, India, Philippines, and Suriname. (Please check back. This list will be updated as shipping restrictions are lifted.)
