Help the Parker Family Rebuild After an Unimaginable Year
Our family has faced more in the past year than we ever imagined.
I am currently navigating my own cancer journey while our family has been rocked by one medical crisis after another. My husband, Jason, underwent major spinal surgery after suddenly losing his ability to walk. Just five days after returning home, he suffered an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Thanks to the quick actions of our son, Kaden, who performed CPR, and the incredible work of first responders and medical teams, Jason survived.
His recovery has been nothing short of miraculous, but it has also been life-changing. Jason is now living with cognitive challenges from an acquired brain injury, physical limitations, and ongoing medical needs that require frequent specialist appointments and rehabilitation.
Because of these events, we made the heartbreaking decision to close our family business after many years of serving our community. Losing our primary source of income while facing overwhelming medical expenses has placed our family in an incredibly difficult position.
We are raising funds to help with:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Travel to specialists and ongoing treatments
Mortgage and essential household bills
Preparing our home so we can rent it and relocate closer to Jason's medical care
Adaptive equipment and home modifications
Basic living expenses while Jason recovers and our family rebuilds
