Welcome to the Patch’s Place Autumn Auction! 

Our Autumn Auction is officially open through October 16 at 12:00 AM, and while we hope you find something you absolutely love, what makes this auction special is what happens after you place your bid. 

Every winning bid comes right back to the horses and the people we serve. 

At Patch’s Place, we provide lifelong sanctuary to draft horses with "special medical needs." We provide a lifelong home to those who can no longer be adopted because of their age, medical conditions, or special needs. Your bids help keep hay in the pastures, feed in the buckets, medications on the shelves, and veterinary and farrier care available when our horses need it. 

But the impact doesn't stop with the herd. 

As our horses heal and learn to trust again, they also help us create meaningful connections with people through our free Equine Assisted Coaching and community programs, including children's summer camps, Homeschool Tuesdays, and our Junior Volunteer Program. 

In a beautiful way, the horses you help care for are helping people, too. 

Patch’s Place has no paid employees, which means the work here is fueled by volunteers, donors, supporters—and people like you who decide to place a bid. 

So have fun. Bid on something you love. Buy a gift. Treat yourself. Share the auction with a friend. Get into a friendly bidding war if you have to.  

Because behind every item is something much bigger than the item itself. 

A full feed bucket. A needed medication. A hoof trim. A vet visit. A horse learning that this home really is forever. And another opportunity for horses and people to find connection, confidence, and healing together.

Patch’s Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit draft horse sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong care and a permanent home to rescued draft horses whose medical conditions, age, or emotional needs make them unsuitable for adoption.

Our mission is to give these horses what they may have never known, safety, dignity, specialized care, and the promise that they will never have to search for another home again.

As our horses heal and learn to trust, some choose to become part of our free horse-led Equine Assisted Coaching and wellness programs, creating meaningful connections with people seeking healing, confidence, growth, and connection.

At Patch’s Place, sanctuary means forever. We believe every horse deserves to feel safe, valued, and loved for the rest of their life, and that through the extraordinary connection between horses and humans, healing can flow both ways.
