About Physicians for a National Health Program NY Metro
PNHP NY Metro works to build the movement for universal single-payer, publicly-financed health care for all, and health justice, with a particular focus on educating and organizing healthcare workers. At the state level, that has meant playing an active role in the statewide coalition organizing to pass the New York Health Act, and advocating at the national level for passage of Medicare for All. Both are single-payer healthcare systems that would cover every resident, including undocumented immigrants, without fees at the point of service.
