PES Fall Gala & Auction: Lights, Camera, Auction

One of the ways that the PES PTA is able to meet its goals is through our auction at the Fall Gala. Last year, community support and sponsorships at our Fall Gala enabled the PES PTA to achieve many of its goals, including but not limited to, advancing technology and security, providing leveled reading classroom libraries, teacher allotments and grants, reading tutoring and investing in our enrichment programs such as art, science, music, library and physical education.
This year, our Fall Gala will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 and the money raised will allow the PTA to continue to support many of the programs mentioned above, in addition to, providing hands on STEM experiences and active learning environments which incorporate movement based student seating options and devices.

Pontchartrain Elementary School is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. PES has a history of academic excellence and has been consistently recognized as a high performing school in the New Orleans Metro area. To this end, PES is committed to providing each of the nearly 800 students in pre-k through 3rd grade students with a safe and balanced academic and social curriculum. The overall purpose of the PES PTA is to ensure every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
