About Our Auction

Each year since 1978, the Penticton Art Gallery has held an annual art auction to raise funds in support of our exhibitions, public outreach and education programming.

The Penticton Art Gallery is pleased to invite the community down to the gallery on Friday December 3rd from 5:00 – 8:00 pm for a special advance preview of the Penticton Art Gallery’s 44th annual fundraising auction. Come celebrate with us, help support the Penticton Art Gallery, and indulge in some wine, small delectables and check out our specially curated collection of 200 unique artworks, pieces of history, gift baskets, and more This special evening preview is generously sponsored by Heena Nagar of Skaha Realty Group Inc.

Admission for the preview and the live event is by donation but we ask that you please register in advance and in keeping with current COVID regulations vaccine passports will be required to attend the public event.

If you don't have a vaccine passport and would like at arrange a private viewing please contact the gallery at the email or phone number above and we can make alternative arrangements.

With COVID protocols in effect and uncertainty around live events, this year’s fundraiser will feature the following three opportunities for the public to bid on our specially curated collection of 200 incredible lots.

1) You can view all 200 lots and bid online up until 9:00 pm on Saturday December 4th, You can leave an exact bid or a proxy bid which will be carried over the live auction on Sunday December 5th starting at 1 pm.

2) You can join us here at the Penticton Art Gallery and bid person on Sunday December 5th starting at 1:00 pm. Items will be auctioned off alphabetical order with bids carrying over from the online portion of the auction which ends at 9:00 pm on Saturday December 4th.

The Penticton Art Gallery champions the transformative power of the Arts through an annual program of thought provoking exhibitions, supported by our education and outreach programs, designed to celebrate, uplift, inspire and engage the public in important community conversations. The support of our funders, volunteers, members and donors over the past forty-nine years has made it possible for the gallery to present a diverse range of locally and internationally renowned exhibitions and programming.
