Honoring Ozzie the Giraffe: A Bronze Memorial Statue Fundraiser
Dear Friends and Supporters,
At the Lion Habitat Ranch, we are deeply committed to the well-being and legacy of our beloved animals. It is with a mix of heartfelt sadness and pride that we announce our fundraising campaign to build a 60-inch bronze memorial statue of our dearly missed Ozzie the giraffe.
Ozzie was truly one of a kind, and his presence brought joy and inspiration to all who met him. As a cherished ambassador for wild giraffes, Ozzie’s legacy lives on in our hearts and memories. After much consideration, we have decided to endeavor to have a statue created in honor of Ozzie's remarkable life and contributions.
Fundraising Details:
- Goal: To raise funds for a 60-inch bronze memorial statue of Ozzie. The goal is $60,000. Anything raised beyond this goal will go towards the continued care of our animal family. If we are unable to reach our goal, all donations will go towards the continued care of our animal family.
- How You Can Help: Your generous donations will directly support the creation of this statue, celebrating Ozzie’s legacy.

About Lion Habitat Ranch
The Lion Habitat Ranch is a federal 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We strive to educate guests about our animals and how they can take part in conservation themselves. The Lion Habitat Ranch also actively contributes to conservation efforts for both lions and giraffe.
We are open Thursday through Monday from 11am-3pm in the winter and from 10am-2pm in the summer. All admission must be booked online at this time. https://lionhabitatranch.org/product/general-admission/

We also offer educational field trips from 9am-10am during summer hours and from 10am-11am during winter hours. This is a guided field trip with one of our knowledgeable keepers.
