About Our Auction

Welcome. I hope you and your loved ones are safe and continue to remain healthy during these trying times. We have all rapidly entered into a new way of life, one which also requires us to find inspiration, beauty, courage, insight and joy, the very things that Art in its many forms addresses; facilitating, enabling and connecting us as a human collective to understand and celebrate what it really means to be human. Please join me, Orso Czerny and Atelier 1553, who is currently hosting my recent exhibit entitled: A Story of Bones, at their Gallery, in this online auction event from the safety of your home, and take advantage of getting some amazing work to brighten your life and living space and add to or start a new collection.

About Orso Czerny

Orso Czerny is a visual artist working, living and exhibiting between the United states and Europe. Selected exhibitions include: Galleria Lattanzi Carrara Italy, Galeri Vartai Lithuania, Nuart Gallery Santa Fe, Togonon Gallery San Francisco, St. Mary’s Art Center Virginia City, Diverse Works Houston, Ken's Art Gallery Florence, USF San Francisco, where he was a guest teacher and lecturer in the Davies Forum. Czerny is the recipient of awards from Vermont Studio Center, Transart Institute, Can Serrat, and SFAI. He studied at SFAI and received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from SNC (2017).
Czerny’s multidisciplinary practices are paddles with which he navigates; the compasses guiding him forth - revealing the ritual of creating that binds him to the deeper meanings of being alive and what it means to be human.

“Nature is the true conductor, I am a note, and the things I create are the bridges between”.
