Greater Lansing Optimist Club 2026

The Greater Lansing Optimist Club serves children and youth throughout mid-Michigan, many of whom come from low-income households. The funds raised by GLOC help provide vital resources, including:

•  Classroom supplies for students and teachers
•  Support for youth sports with Real Lansing FC
•  Mental health resources in partnership with Positive Somebody
•  Scholarships for winners of our Optimist Scholarship Essay Contest

 The Greater Lansing Optimist Club is a member of Optimist International, a volunteer community service organization founded in the early 20th century. Clubs around the world work in their local areas to bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves.

  Our positive approach, our upbeat outlook, and our commitment to creating a more optimistic future for kids make Optimist Clubs different from other service organizations.
