Fall Into Fall Online Auction (October 2026)

Online auction to continue to raise funds for veterinary care for the animals in rescue!

Cherished Tails focuses mainly on seniors and special needs dogs who are at risk in local shelters due to age, medical or behavior. Since our inception in the summer of 2017 we have rescued almost 2,300 animals and have adopted out over 2,000.

Our team of volunteers rescue senior dogs,   injured and sick dogs from shelters and the community. Cherished Tails Senior Sanctuary provide them needed medical, love and care. All animals live in foster homes either permanently or temporarily while they await adoption. We average 75-85 animals in rescue at any one time, half of which have serious medical conditions, so are limited in our abilities to save more by foster space and available medical funds. We also welcome, care for and cherish those whose medical needs we can meet, but have to remain in our care for the rest of their days.  These “fospice” pets are near and dear to us and we never turn our back on a pet for this reason. All funds from the auction will be used to provide direct care for the pets in rescue.
