About Our Auction

DMSEF will be auctioning off one (1) VIP parking space for Ocean Air families in an online auction beginning Monday, September 26 at 8 AM PDT. The winner of the auction will receive a designated parking space in the Ocean Air parking lot for the 2022-23 school year. All auction proceeds will go toward Ocean Air's DMSEF fundraising goal of $189,139.

The auction will open with a minimum bid of $2,500. The auction will close at Sunday, October 2 at 10:00 AM PDT..

Please create an account and review the auction terms on this site before the auction opens if you plan to bid!

Extended Bidding:
The Extended Bidding option automatically extends the end time of an item by 3 minutes when it receives a bid during the final 3 minutes. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes of the item bidding window or the auction has been extended for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original end time. When an auction is extended, you will see Extended Bidding messages displayed throughout the auction with a link for easily viewing all of the extended items.

The Extended Bidding option will help deter the process of entering a bid in the final seconds of an auction which leaves no opportunity for other participants to outbid others.

Payment for the winning bid must be submitted to DMSEF within 48 hours after close of auction via cash, check, or credit card at https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/DelMarSchoolsEducationFoun/OnlineDonation.html. Non-payment will result in offering a parking spot to the next highest bidder.

The fair market value (FMV) of the reserved parking space is considered to be the winning auction price paid.

About Del Mar Schools Education Foundation

The Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds for STEAM+ teachers in our school district. Since California does not fully fund specialized teachers for STEAM+ instruction in elementary school, our district depends on parent contributions to provide exceptional STEAM+ learning opportunities for our students. Our STEAM+ program, taught by credentialed specialists and offering differentiated grade-based learning, plays an important role in helping our schools consistently place in the top 1% of elementary schools across California. Our goal is to raise funds to cover 40% of the STEAM+ specialist salaries in DMUSD for the next school year.
