Ocean Acres 2026 Auction

Thank you for supporting the Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary 2026 auction.

Ocean Acres currently cares for, or coordinates foster care for, more than 400 dogs and cats. Operating the sanctuary and delivering our wider services across Barbados costs approximately BBD $70,000 each month. We receive no government funding, making fundraising initiatives such as this auction essential.

Funds raised through the auction will help us:

• Provide daily sanctuary care, food and veterinary treatment
• Rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned and abused dogs and cats
• Reduce overpopulation through our Spay Neuter Barbados programme
• Help people access essential veterinary care for their animals
• Deliver education and advocate for lasting improvements in animal welfare

Since opening in January 2020, Ocean Acres has grown into an organisation that does far more than rescue animals. We work to protect animals in immediate need, support the people responsible for their care and address the reasons so many dogs and cats require rescue in the first place.

Our goal is not simply to rescue more animals. It is to help create a Barbados in which fewer animals need rescuing.

Stay Involved

Your connection with Ocean Acres does not have to end when the auction closes. There are several ways to become part of our work:

• Virtually adopt an animal and provide dependable monthly support towards their ongoing care.
• Volunteer with us, including helping at fundraising and community events or contributing a professional skill.
• Partner with Ocean Acres. If your company would like to include Ocean Acres in its CSR efforts, we welcome the opportunity to talk. Partnerships can include sponsorship, staff fundraising or volunteering, donated goods and services, or support for a particular programme.
