OASIS FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER works one on one with survivors to help them reclaim their lives and move forward with a plan and with support. We wrap our arms around survivors and help you on the journey toward healing.

Oasis Family Resource Center is so much more than the Shelter. Although it is the cornerstone of the work we do and has defined our role in the community, our programming and services that fall into three intersecting pillars:
- Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
- Family Services
- Second Chance Resale Store

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
We use an empowerment based philosophy to end domestic and sexual violence. The self-determination and empowerment of survivors is promoted with each individual given respect and encouragement to take control of their life .This is done through:
Shelter - 24 hour residential facility and a fully staffed 24 hour crisis line
Advocacy - walking side by side to assist a survivor in connecting with the resources needed: legal, social, jobs, skills training, parenting
Transitional Housing - subsidized housing units for survivors of domestic violence and their children
Support Groups - weekly Empowerment groups open to all survivors

FAMILY SERVICES
Supporting and educating families with empowerment based programming that strengthens and assists families in building upon those skills and work together toward self-identified goals.
Family Links - classes, materials and in home parent education programs that give parents the tools and support to be stronger, more involved parents.
Counseling - private and group sessions to learn from professionals
Advocacy - walking side by side to assist families in connecting with the resources needed: legal, social, jobs, skills training, parenting

SECOND CHANCE RESALE STORE
Selling clothing, collectibles and household goods that are donated by the community. All proceeds help support programs at Oasis Family Resource Center.

Shop with purpose knowing we provide clothing and household goods to survivors and families in our programs, free of charge. We work with individuals who are referred by other community agencies to help support individuals.
