The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted OCO's way of life. Funds raised will support OCO's COVID-19 Relief Fund, helping to offset the strain on programs who continue to provide essential services to individuals and families in need. Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. (OCO) provides services to more than 15,000 people annually and employs nearly 600 dedicated staff who are working tirelessly to provide essential services to the most vulnerable during these unsettling times. OCO is the Community Action Agency for Oswego County, assisting low-income participants in increasing self-sufficiency, improving living conditions, owning a stake in the community, and achieving their fullest potential. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on the services OCO provides, but we are essential and have not closed our doors!
OCO holds two major annual fundraising events, Bowl-A-Fun held each year in March was cancelled and now the “Giving Thanks” event held in November is going virtual due to the pandemic. The loss of our live events has greatly impacted the unrestricted funds raised to help support our programming.
We need your help! Funds raised from OCO’s virtual Giving Thanks event will be used to offset additional expenses incurred due to COVID-19.
