Nova Voce 2026 Fundraising Auction

Auction proceeds will support future choir activities as well as assisting in fulfilling our mandate to support male choral singing through donating to other organizations such as Halifax Boys' Honour Choir. 

NOVA VOCE is made up of 25+ men from all over Nova Scotia, whose talent has been recognized and praised both nationally and internationally.  We have performed with the Stadacona Band, Symphony Nova Scotia, the Halifax Boys’ Honour Choir, the Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir, the Aeolian Singers, Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus and many other musical groups. Our travels have taken us throughout Nova Scotia and to Ottawa, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Eastern United States and even Italy! 

In 2024, NOVA VOCE was nominated for an East Coast Music Association Award (ECMA) in the Choral Recording of the Year category for its recording of “Painter of Wintertime” as part of the Robbie Smith Project.  In 2026, NOVA VOCE was the Bronze Winner in the “Best Community Choir” category in The Coast’s Best of Halifax Readers’ Choice Awards.

Our NEXT CONCERT is "Duke Ellington Sacred Concert", a joint concert with Cantabile Society of Truro, The Tuesday Night Band and Soprano, Frances Farrel, on Saturday, May 30th in Truro (First United Church at 7 pm) and Sunday, May 31st in Dartmouth (Life Branch Church, Dartmouth at 3:00 pm).
