Beacons Of Light

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the community’s stewardship of the Nobska Point Light Station by the Friends of Nobska Light, on behalf of the Town of Falmouth, the Friends will sponsor “Beacons of Light” a traveling art exhibit of decorated wooden lighthouses this summer. This exhibit will raise awareness in the community for the need to preserve this beloved icon for future generations and raise funds to help the cause.

The Friends of Nobska Light is a 501(c)(3), incorporated in February 2015 to preserve Nobska Light Station and, since April 2016, under agreement with the US Coast Guard and the Town of Falmouth, to preserve the tower, the lighthouse keeper's house and the grounds as an educational resource open to the public.
