About Our Auction

One for the Money is a special silent auction featuring original works donated by our resident artists. Running in conjunction with our feature exhibit "Two for the Show", each participating artist has generously contributed one piece, with 50% of every sale supporting the artist and the remaining 50% invested directly into the future of NOA Gallery. Proceeds will help fund exhibitions, openings, special events, and new opportunities for artists and our community.

The online auction runs July 23 through August 3, with all artwork on display in the gallery from July 30. Gallery members will be invited to an exclusive reception on July 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.(watch your mailboxes), where they can preview the collection, meet the artists, and place their bids. Bidding continues both online and in person throughout the Heritage Day long weekend, closing on August 3.

We hope One for the Money becomes an annual tradition—one that celebrates the incredible talent of our resident artists while investing in the future of the arts through NOA Gallery.

Bid on a piece you love. Support the artists. Invest in the future of the gallery.

About Night of Artists

In 1997 Phil Alain rented a small community hall in the city of St. Albert, set up all his artwork around the perimeter of the room, had a friend play piano, his sister sing, and food and drinks were provided  in a party like atmosphere to a small but supportive crowd of 150 people. The event was a hit and Alain was able to show and promote his artwork in a new and exciting way. From that day forward Night of Artists was born and as of 2019 Night of Artists has been featured across Canada in over 250 events and the annual event now receives over 3000 guests over a three day festival

The Night of Artists now has a permanent home in Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre, allowing local artists a place to exhibit and sell their work all year long. The gallery also provides event space to other cultural organizations and is slowly building an arts hub in the mall.
