About Our Auction
The monies raised from this auction will fund the Non-Traditional Scholarship fund. Every year we award one $2,000 scholarship to individuals who are 25 years of age or older if they are starting or continuing the pursuit of education and training to become more financial independent.
About New Braunfels MLK Association, Inc.
We were formed to have a march & ceremony to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK Day in New Braunfels Texas. Our first march was 2016. We have activities and projects throughout the year to further the teachings of Dr. King. We also award a $2,000 non-traditional scholarship for those individuals 25 years old or older who are working to get the education and training they need to become financially independent. To date we have give 5 scholarships. This auction will be used to raise funds for our scholarship by auctioning a quilt made by our organization called, "The Journey".
