SC Student Art Auction: Paintings by Mo Han
Event Overview
We are excited to present an exclusive auction featuring a series of original oil paintings by Mo Han, a talented Grade 11 student artist. Mo Han’s work showcases exceptional technical skill and creative vision, offering a unique opportunity to collect emerging student art.
Purpose of the Auction
This event is both a celebration of student achievement and a fundraiser for our school's art department. All bid amounts exceeding the opening bid will go directly toward supporting art supplies, equipment, and future student projects.
About the Artist
Born on April 17, 2007, in Beijing, and raised in Shanghai, Mo Han moved to Canada at the age of 11. Now studying at Stanstead College, she began her journey with painting at age 13. She is deeply passionate about this medium because it allows her to convey a wide range of emotions through its rich colors and infinite possibilities for expressive strokes. Through her artworks, it is possible to appreciate how a girl perceives the world and from what perspective she views it. Her art reflects a unique and insightful perspective on the world around her.
About Stanstead College
Students come to Stanstead College from around the world for many reasons — to challenge themselves academically, to strengthen their English, or to experience the unique life of a boarding school. Whatever the reason, it’s a life-changing journey.
Beyond academics and athletics, what truly defines Stanstead is its heart. We may have a large campus, but we’re a close-knit family where everyone knows your name. Teachers and staff don’t just teach — they coach, mentor, and share in daily life, creating a community built on care and connection.
Living, learning, and growing together builds bonds that last a lifetime. You may come to Stanstead for the experience — but you’ll return, because it feels like home.
