STARTING BIDS REDUCED - HAVE A LOOK

Every year we have a big St. Patrick's Day party with a silent auction. This year though, we had to cancel our party due to the COVID-19 emergency.

So, like St. Patrick who regularly self-distanced himself by wandering off to lonely mountaintops to fast and meditate, we keep his spirit in a different way this year and present our St. Patrick's Social Distancing Silent Auction. This event helps raise funds for charitable organizations such as The Calgary Distress Centre and Bread Beyond Borders both of whom are in need for resources to support Calgarians in need during this emergency. So bid in good cheer and help support some good causes again this year. Hope to see you all in person next year for some beer, music and good fun.

We are the Millenium Rotary Club in Calgary. We do community service, both locally and internationally. Our annual St Patrick's Day Fund Raiser Party was cancelled due to the Covid-19 emergency. We are now running an on-line auction using the items donated for the Silent Auction at our party. Proceeds will support the Calgary Distress Centre and Bread Beyond Borders (BBB). The Distress Centre provides a phone distress line for people dealing with acute mental health concerns. BBB picks up bread that would not be sold at several large retailers and then repacks it for distribution to needy families
