Mia’s Ride is a fundraiser aimed to secure an accessible van for a family with a special needs daughter.

If you haven't met Mia yet, she will melt your heart! Mia is a joyful 8 year old who lives in West Kelowna with her twin sister and parents. Mia faces the challenges of severe Cerebral Palsy, affecting all aspects of her life including her hearing and speech, and confining her to a wheelchair. Every day poses a new challenge for Mia and her family, getting around is especially cumbersome.

After 2 years of research, scouring classified ads and gathering quotes, the family has determined the most suitable vehicle for their particular needs. With their regular trips to the Vancouver Children's Hospital, it needs to be reliable.
