"Living the Good Life"

At MIALS, our mission is to support 55+ adults on Mayne Island through compassionate care, community-centered services, programs, and partnerships. We empower individuals to age in place with dignity, connection, purpose and choice.

We have numerous programs to assist this vulnerable population, all of which require funding. We apply for grants regularly, but also need donations in order to run a fiscally healthy organization. All funds from "Living the Good Life" will directly impact the Mayne Island community.

Mayne Island Assisted Living (MIALS) is here to assist and support community members to age in place, and to remain integrated with in their community.
MIALS is a volunteer based program, developed in 2004 by Mayne Islanders who envisioned a way of life where neighbours are helping neighbours. Connecting those in need of assistance with our group of volunteers that are willing and able to offer that level of assistance - to enhance their quality of life, to stay active, independent, and integrated in their community.
