About Our Auction

Claudia Bradby Jewellery is marking the joyful occasion of the royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle by raising money for cancer charity, Maggie’s. Claudia is auctioning a pair of 18 karat gold plated earrings, one of only two pairs made in this design, making these a truly meaningful and collectible piece.

The earring design was inspired by Meghan’s talent for calligraphy, as she demonstrated in her television appearance on the Larry King show. Claudia has used the looping ‘K’ of King to create the elegant shape and each earring is finished with two diamonds and a single pearl. Recommended retail prices start from £245, but we are hoping to exceed this amount to support such a wonderful cause.

Maggie’s helps anyone affected by cancer through a network of 21 centres across the UK, all staffed by professional Cancer Support Specialists, Benefits Advisers, Nutritionists, Therapists and Psychologists, who provide free specialist support. All money raised through this auction will go directly to Maggie’s to help keep this essential support available for people living with cancer.

About Claudia Bradby Jewellery and Maggie's

Claudia Bradby is a British designer jewellery brand specialising in contemporary pearl and silver jewellery. We have been supporting Maggie’s since 2015 through fundraising events and also from the sale of two specially commissioned pieces of jewellery; our Maggie’s Joy Necklace and Maggie’s Pink Pearl Studs. Like so many people, all of us at Claudia Bradby Jewellery have been touched either directly or indirectly by cancer and are very proud to support this incredible charity.

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks. The first Maggie’s Centre opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and the charity now has 21 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
