Fall 2026 Convention Auction

General Information

McCabe’s Rabbitry has the right to refuse a sale to any person(s).

• All bidders and buyers must be 18 or older. if a minor (17 years old or younger) is interested in purchasing an animal, their legal guardian must be the one buying in their place.
• All rabbits in this auction are represented as accurately as possible. Descriptions were written at the time of handling and photographing each rabbit.
• Each rabbit has an individual listing with a full description—please read carefully before placing bids.
• While no disqualifications (DQs) were found at the time of evaluation show success cannot be guaranteed. These rabbits are primarily intended to strengthen your breeding program. 
• Many of these rabbits are animals I strongly considered retaining in my own program or were in our program.
• We retain first "buy back" rights on rabbits identified as such, during the sale.

Starting Bids

• Each rabbit is assigned a starting price. This reflects a value I would be comfortable accepting outright and serves as a general indicator of quality relative to others in the auction.

Bidding Guidelines

• All bids must follow a $5 minimum increment (e.g., $50, $55, $60, etc.).
• By placing a bid, you are entering a binding agreement to purchase the rabbit if you are the winning bidder.
• Bidding will follow a racehorse-style format, so active participation and refreshing the page frequently is strongly encouraged to stay current with bids.
Closing & Extended Bidding Rules

• The auction will close on October 12, 2026 at 9:00 PM CST.
• If a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes, bidding will extend only for the affected lot(s).
• Each additional bid within those 3 minutes will reset the countdown.
• Bidding will continue until there has been no new bid for a full 3 minutes.
• The extension period will run for a maximum of 30 minutes total, ending at 9:30 PM CST.
• Once bidding has ended, each lot will be marked Closed, and the winning bidder will receive an email notification from 32 Auctions.

Payment Terms

• I will personally follow up with each winning bidder to arrange payment and transport.
• 50% of the total bid amount is due within 24 hours of auction close, with the remaining balance due no later than 10/20/2026.The animal will be offered to the next highest bidder if payment is not received unless otherwise discussed—flexibility is available if communication is maintained.
• Payment can be made via check, money order or CashApp or discussed otherwise before the auction closes unless other arrangements have been made and pre-approved. 

Transport & Pickup

• All rabbits will be entered and transported to 2026 ARBA Convention in Reno, NV.
• If you will not be attending Convention, it is your responsibility to arrange transport as soon as possible.
• I am happy to help coordinate transport when possible.
Health, Condition & Guarantees

• The buyer/transporter is responsible for checking over the rabbit upon pickup and assumes all responsibility for the health and condition of the rabbit as soon as it leaves my care. Once the rabbit leaves my possession, it is considered a final sale—no returns or replacements will be made.
• If this changes for any reason before pickup, proper communications will be made and a refund will be offered.
• Pedigrees for all rabbits will be given at time of pick-up or mailed to new owners. Animals will need to be paid in full before pedigrees will be given.
