About Our Auction

One of the most impactful components of our Maui MONOPOLY Tournament event will be our Silent Auction. We anticipate raising over half of our proceeds for the event from the Silent Auction alone. We have some fantastic auction items in every price category, so there is truly something for everyone!

Our silent auction will be held 100% online, which means the number of participants allowed is UNLIMITED. It also means you do not have to be present at the event to participate in the Silent Auction.

The Auction will open at 9:00 am HST on Wednesday, November 15th and will end at 12:45 pm HST on Saturday, November 18th. You do not need an account to view the auction, but you will need to set up an account to place a bid, so we recommend registering early so you don't miss out. The process is quick and very little information is required.

This auction will also allow for "Proxy" bidding. A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you are willing to spend and then let the system bid for you up to that amount. For example, if an item is currently selling for $10 and you enter a proxy bid of $50, the system will automatically bid for you until the selling price goes over $50. At that point, you will be outbid and someone else will be the leading bidder. You will only owe the amount the system has bid for you which will never be more than your maximum proxy bid amount.

About Maui MONOPOLY Tournament

Wailea Realty Corp. and The Windermere Foundation in partnership with The Shops of Wailea and Old Republic Title Company are hosting a Maui MONOPOLY® Tournament. This Hasbro approved MONOPOLY Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:00 am – 3:00pm at The Shops of Wailea and promises to be a fun-filled day of friendly competition with all proceeds from the event will benefit the Maui Food Bank and Habitat For Humanity Maui.

The Maui Food Bank is Maui County’s primary safety net for hunger relief. The Food Bank serves 10,000 people a month who are food insecure. Of those served 40% are children and youth. Working with over 120 partner agencies, the Food Bank distributes safe and nutritious food to individuals, families, kids, the working poor, seniors on fixed incomes, the homeless and anyone who is at risk of going hungry. This includes people in need living in the rural communities of Hana, Molokai and Lanai.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our community, and all over the world, to help people build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.
