Maccabi USA Equestrian Team Fundraiser

This auction helps to support the Dressage and Show Jumping team that will be representing the Maccabi USA Equestrian Team at the 15th European Maccabi Games in Budapest, Hungary this summer by funding some expenses associated with international horse sports.

Maccabi USA is a Jewish Sports not-for-profit organization that fields teams to compete in Jewish international sporting events, such as the Maccabiah Games, Pan American Maccabi Games, and European Maccabi Games.

The Maccabiah Games were first held in 1932 in the land we today know as Israel. Following the second Games in 1935, the Games were put on hold until the conclusion of the second World War. In 1950, the Maccabiah Games roared back to competition with Jewish athletes from across the globe, paving the way for Israel’s participation in the 1952 Olympic Games.

Today, over 70 years after its inception, Maccabi USA remains dedicated to enriching the lives of Jews through athletic, cultural and educational programs. Maccabi USA was designated by the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) in 2013 as one of its Multi-Sport Organizations.

The Maccabi Movement has grown to include more than 80 Maccabi delegations around the globe. Thousands of Americans have participated in the Maccabiah Games including many US Olympians.
