8th Annual MacKenzie Benefit for Sharp Park

*****Include your email and phone number when you sign-up for this auction. *****

The online portion of the silent auction is open for bidding until June 4, 10pm PDT!

The auction will then continue in-person on June 8th at the Alister MacKenzie Tournament at Sharp Park.

All auction items are thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and members of the San Francisco Public Golf Alliance (www.sfpublicgolf.org). Proceeds go to our ongoing campaign to Preserve Sharp Park. Thank you in advance for your participation and generous support for the cause.

How the Auction Works (high-level):

This is a online-to-in-person silent auction; in other words, bidding starts online and then will resume in-person on the day of the tournament, June 8th. Highest online bids will be confirmed via credit card authorization and will serve as starting bids at the in-person auction. In this way, community members who are unable to join us for the tournament can also have a chance to bid on this amazing array of items donated by our generous members and sponsors.

How the Auction Works (the details):

The auction is open for bidding online until it closes on Tuesday, June 4, 10pm PDT.

Then, from June 5th 10am through June 7th 12pm PDT, we will contact highest online bidders to confirm their bids and obtain credit card information. When you sign-up for the auction, be sure to include your best email and phone number, and be prepared to provide credit card information for pre-authorization over the phone if you are the highest online bidder. It is important that we communicate with you BEFORE June 7th 12pm PDT to confirm your online bid and obtain your credit card information; otherwise, we may not be able to honor your online bid. You may also call or email us to provide your credit card information in advance, in anticipation of potentially being the highest online bidder: Richard Harris: 415-290-5718, richard@sfpublicgolf.org; Sarah Lau: SarahLauSF@gmail.com

The highest confirmed bid from the online auction will serve as the opening bid at the June 8th in-person silent auction at the Eighth Annual Alister MacKenzie Heritage Tournament to Preserve Sharp Park*, where the auction will resume and then conclude June 8th at 6:30pm PDT**. The final highest bid when the in-person auction closes will be the winning bid.

If your bid is the final winning bid after the close of the in-person auction, then your credit card will be processed for payment; if your bid is not the winning bid, then you will NOT be charged, and your credit card information will NOT be saved.
