Malvern Valley Primary School Carnival 2018

This Auction forms part of our school Carnival - happening on Saturday 20 October 2018. The carnival is raising funds to become a leading STEM school in our region.
STEM Education programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) cover the specific knowledge and skills found in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. It explores the links between these areas, allowing learning to be delivered in an integrated way, helping a deeper engagement in the four disciplines.

All funds raised from our carnival will be going directly to repurpose a building in our school to be a STEM Lab or space which is permanently set up to engage the kids directly and enhance the children’s education and learning environment.

Currently, STEM programs are undertaken in our school on more an ad-hoc basis, with resource kits being shared between classrooms. This Lab will be a purpose designed space.

At MVPS our mission is to ‘Create Confident Children with Choices for their future’. Having this lab will open minds and start pathways for Victoria’s future scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and technology collaborators
