About Maine South Parents' Scholarship Club

The Maine South Parents' Scholarship Club (http://www.msparentsscholarshipclub.org/) was formed when the school opened in 1964. We are a non-profit 501-C organization whose purpose is to award scholarships to qualifying students in the senior class.

Scholarships are awarded to deserving graduating students who submit applications with essays and recommendation letters. Students are evaluated on their involvement in the community, clubs, sports, fine arts, employment, etc., and not solely on grades. Scholarships are to be used for expenses at the university/college of the student's choice. Over $1.2 million has been distributed to approximately 1,500 seniors throughout the club’s history, with 59 scholarships being awarded in 2020.

Scholarship funds are raised through our benefits, membership dues and the generous donations of our local business community, alumni and Maine South parents.
