About Our Auction
Building on the success of our online auction, we are thrilled to announce that it will return this year! In addition to the online platform, we will also have exciting items available for bidding at the event itself. Thank you for your ongoing support and for being part of this incredible journey.
Below, we’d like to share more about the foundation you help sustain with your generosity:
"The Quality of Life - Community Fund Account"
The funds raised through your support are placed in The Community Fund Account at the MS Office. This account is carefully monitored by the MS Society and serves as a Provincial Fund. Thanks to your contributions, these funds are now available to individuals living with MS across the entire province of Alberta.
Your unwavering support enables us to assist more individuals who require resources and adaptations to remain with their families and enhance their "QUALITY OF LIFE!"
Together, we are making a meaningful difference. Thank you for being an essential part of this mission!
About MS Driving Fore A Cure Golf Classic Tournament
In 1992, our wife and mother, Marg, received the life-altering diagnosis of MS. Like anyone faced with unexpected news, we experienced tears, anger, and then resolved not to let this challenge define us.
Our journey began with participating in the local bike tour for Multiple Sclerosis, rallying our family to raise over $100,000 for MS research over a decade. As cycling became more challenging, we sought new ways to support the cause.
In 2004, inspired by our family's love for golf, we launched the “MS Driving Fore A Cure” Golf Classic Tournament. Over the past 20 years, with your generous support, we've raised over $256,000.00. Unlike funds for research, these contributions directly benefit families and individuals living with MS, improving their quality of life through essential equipment and home renovations that keep families together.
Your friendship and support have been invaluable in making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by MS, enhancing their "QUALITY OF LIFE!" We are deeply thankful for your continued support.
