Micasso's Mosaic Art Auction (2019)

The EVENT.

Mikayla's Voice will host our 2nd Annual Micasso's Mosaic Art Auction on April 4, 2019 from 6:30-9:00pm at the Crayola Experience, 4 Centre Square, Easton, PA. We will celebrate talented young artists, support Mikayla's Voice continued growth and success, and enjoy a fun evening out with adult and kid-friendly food by Get Fed (catering company committed to contributing to the mosaic of their community one bite at a time). Tickets to and sponsorships for our event are listed below as "buy it now" items. Please join us and make a bid to inspire kids of all abilities to share the message of inclusion. Should you be unable to attend we hope you will join the fun with the online auction!

The ART.

Symbolic of the value of each individual to our community, (16) 16” x 16” canvases created by children from across the Lehigh Valley are beautiful individually, and together as they create a large collaborative artwork. Likewise, your attendance at Micasso’s Mosaic makes you an important part of the greater picture. For the first time ever, we will also auction original artwork created by Mikayla while included in painting classes at Northampton Community College. We will also feature Ivy, a talented, young photographer whose deafness allows her to highlight wonderfully interesting, textural details others miss in our noisy world. Finally, Jared has donated acrylic “pour” paintings to benefit our effort, and demonstrate another inclusive art technique that anyone can enjoy.

The PROMISE.

We promised Mikayla her voice would continue to be heard: Louder. Strong. Farther. A Voice for Inclusion. Friendship. Kindness. Love. Heard across the Commonwealth, and beyond. Forever. With your help, we can keep our promise to Mikayla, and her voice will become her legacy.

An acronym for the Voice Of Inclusion for Children Everywhere, Mikayla’s Voice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was founded in 2010 to inspire kids of all abilities to share the message of inclusion. While Mikayla never spoke a word, she has inspired so many others to be her “voice” and:

Inspire children and young adults to embrace individuals of all abilities.
Empower them to create cultural change by teaching others to include everyone.
Educate our community about the meaning and importance of inclusion.

Designed to showcase children’s talent and creativity, our unique programs allow kids to enjoy and demonstrate successful inclusion as they work and play together. Programming in education, arts, and sports and recreation prove inclusion is possible in all aspects of life.
