Dinner on the Diamond "Safe @ Home"

Dear Miracle League Supporters,

For over 15 years, The Miracle League of Palm Beach County has been working to enrich and expand lives by providing the opportunity for all children, regardless of their ability, to play baseball. By creating a safe and inclusive place for individuals with physical and mental disabilities to participate in a team sport, The Miracle League of Palm Beach County helps to inspire hearts and develop crucial life skills. While baseball is the primary vehicle used to encourage kindness, compassion, and generosity in the community, our league allows participants to mutually teach, guide, and motivate each other in a multitude of ways.

This year has been difficult for all of us; COVID-19 cancelled our spring and summer seasons, leaving many of our players wondering why they couldn’t join their teammates, buddies, and coaches on our brand new field. They want more than anything to be playing under the lights, next to our accessible playground to hit the homeruns that bring huge smiles to their faces.

Our past fundraising and annual Dinner on the Diamond events have allowed us to keep Miracle League fee-free for all players, while also providing funds to upgrade our facilities to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. This year, we feel it is more appropriate to try something different. Rather than a 200-guest dinner at the field, which we love and expect to do again one day, we are calling on you to help us make the 5th Annual Dinner on the Diamond: Safe @ Home 2020 SUCCESSFUL!!!

Creating a safe and inclusive place for individuals with physical and mental disabilities to participate in team sport, The Miracle League of Palm Beach encompasses the encouragement and achievement of crucial life skills.

Although The Miracle League of Palm Beach County is recognized by its athletic name, baseball is primarily a vehicle to encourage kindness, compassion, creativity, and generosity in the community while changing lives in the process.

Promoting diversity and inclusion, The Miracle League of Palm Beach County allows participants to mutually teach, guide, and inspire each other in a multitude of ways, offering avenues to achieve physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
