Childhood cancer does not let up during a pandemic, and support from community members like you remains as important as ever as we continue to provide care and comfort to local children and families. While we won’t be gathering at Shawnee Peak this year for a traditional Moonlight Challenge, our mission remains the same: to raise funds and awareness for local children fighting cancer and blood disorders.

Maine Children's Cancer Program (MCCP)—the pediatric oncology and hematology program of The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center—is Maine's premier treatment center for children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders. MCCP has three primary areas of focus: providing children with access to the best cancer treatments available, participating in clinical research to improve survival rates and move closer to a cure, and supporting the entire family throughout their journey with childhood cancer.
