About Our Auction

Since 2015, the Moonlight Challenge has raised over half a million dollars to support the life-saving work of Maine Children’s Cancer Program—a truly snow-stopping achievement made possible by our incredible eventgoers, sponsors, and volunteers.

This year’s auction will run from Friday, January 31, through Friday, February 7. Cozy up with a warm drink and bid online throughout the week, or join us for the Moonlight Challenge at Pleasant Mountain on February 9 to experience the magic in person! Can’t make it to the mountain? Don’t worry—you’ll receive email or text updates if you’re outbid, so you won’t miss out on your favorite items.

Whether you join us at Pleasant Mountain or bid from afar, you'll be helping us achieve our goal of reaching $100,000 in cumulative funds raised through the Moonlight Challenge.

A heartfelt thanks to our community partners and donors for generously providing these items and experiences - this wouldn't be possible without your support!

About Maine Children's Cancer Program

Maine Children's Cancer Program (MCCP), the pediatric oncology and hematology program of The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center, is committed to providing comprehensive care to children with cancer and blood disorders in Maine and parts of New Hampshire. Our team of pediatric oncology/hematology physicians, specialized nurses, social workers, research associates, a child life specialist, and a dedicated pediatric oncology clinical pharmacy specialist work together to provide care that incorporates three integrated components: state-of-the-art medical treatment, psycho-social support services, and clinical research. With approximately 50 new oncology diagnoses each year along with about 150 children being followed for a variety of blood disorders, MCCP fills a great need in our state, providing excellent care in a closer-to-home setting.
